Welcome to the 2010 TD Bank Sugarloaf Ski Marathon

1.26 Update: Great prizes for top 3 men and top 3 women in 50K and 25K, including a $100 cash prize for the overall man and woman in the 50k.

Registration is now day of race only and is $60 by cash or check.  We will be ready for you on race morning so please do not call or email Sugarloaf or the organizers in the meantime.

The weather looks good, snow is still good, nice mix of age group prizes like Kennebec Chocolates and raffle prizes from Mammut/Toko, Salomon, Swix, etc. Amazing racers include several junior national champions in the 25K, a top-20 NCAA skier in the 50K, and many of the region’s best masters.  Feeds ranging from home-baked cookies to Hammer Heed and Gel.

Schedule of Events:
7:30AM to 9:30AM: Bib Pick-Up in the Lodge

9AM: 50 kilometer Race Start – 4 Laps!

9:30AM: 25 kilometer Race and Tour Start – 2 Laps!

11:30AM: Time Cut-off (All competitors skiing 50K must complete two loops by this time. If you are not allowed to go on, you will get credit for completing the 25K, show up in those results, and be eligible for raffle prizes.

1PM: Awards Ceremony. Note, prizes will be held for those still on course!

2:30PM: Race and Tour Final Cut-Off.

Prizes:
Randomly Drawn Raffle prizes to be announced.

Prizes for top 3 men and top 3 women in 50K and 25K.  Age group prizes in 10-year age groups for each age group winner for 50K only (After top 3 overall are removed.)

TD Bank Marathon Series Prize (stay tuned!) given to all who finished all four NENSA Marathon Series Races at maximum length.

Feeds:
A mid-lap and stadium feed station.  Hammergel and Heed provided by generous donation from Hammer Nutrition plus a return of the  very popular “home”-cooked snacks prepared by Colby skiers.

Refund Policy:
This event follows the NENSA refund policy for event cancellation: “In the absence of a specific event cancellation policy, fifty percent of the entry fee will be refunded.  Refunds are not granted for event postponements.”  No refunds are granted for competitors who sign-up but are unable to attend.

For those with sickness, injury, etc. please email us ahead of time and we will grant a credit for next year’s race.
